operateorservicethemachine.Localregulations
mayrestricttheageoftheoperator.Theowner
isresponsiblefortrainingalloperatorsand
mechanics.
•Becomefamiliarwiththesafeoperationofthe
equipment,operatorcontrols,andsafetysigns.
•Parkthemachineonalevelsurface;engagethe
parkingbrake;shutoffthetraction-unitengine;
removethekey;andwaitforallmovementtostop
beforeservicingoruncloggingthemachine.Allow
themachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,servicing,
cleaning,orstoringit.
•Knowhowtostopthemachineandshutoffthe
enginequickly.
•Keepallshieldsandsafetydevicesinplace.If
ashield,safetydevice,ordecalisillegibleor
missing,repairorreplaceitbeforeoperatingthe
machine.
•Tightenanyloosenuts,bolts,andscrewsto
ensurethatthemachineisinsafeoperating
condition.Ensurethatthemachinecomponents
areinplaceandsecure.
•Ensurethatyourvehicleissuitableforusewith
animplementofthisweightbycheckingwithyour
vehiclesupplierormanufacturer.
•Donotmodifythisequipmentinanymanner.
•Thetongueistheareaonthemachinewherethe
hitchconnectstothetowvehicle.Theweightof
thetongueaffectsthestabilityofthemachine.
–Anegativeorpositivetongueweightcancause
injurywhenconnectingordisconnectingthe
machinetothetowvehicle.Wheninstalled,
ensurethattheoptionaljackstandisproperly
engaged.
–Whentheweightofthetongueisforcedupinto
thehitchofthetowvehicle,thisproducesa
negativetongueweight.
