5.Turntheignitionkeytothestartposition.When
theenginestarts,releasethekey.
Important:Donotengagethestarterformore
than10secondsatatime.Iftheenginefails
tostart,allowa30secondcool-downperiod
betweenattempts.Failuretofollowthese
instructionscanburnoutthestartermotor.
6.Aftertheenginestarts,graduallymovethechoke
totheofposition.Iftheenginestallsorhesitates,
movethechokebackagainuntiltheenginewarms
up.
7.Movethethrottleswitchtodesiredfast(rabbit)
position.
StoppingtheEngine
1.Movethethrottleswitchtotheslow(turtle)
position.
2.Turntheignitionkeyoff.
Note:Iftheenginehasbeenworkinghardor
ishot,letitidleforaminutebeforeturningthe
ignitionkeyoff.Thishelpscooltheenginebefore
itisstopped.Inanemergency,theenginemaybe
stoppedimmediately.

2.Insertjackontoframepinandsecurewithpin
