Donotdrinkelectrolyteandavoidcontact

glassestoshieldyoureyesandrubbergloves
toprotectyourhands.
Fillthebatterywherecleanwaterisalways
availableforushingtheskin.
4.Removethellercapsfromthebattery.
5.Slowlypourelectrolyteintoeachcelluntilthe
electrolytelevelisuptothelowerpartofthetube
(Figure4).

(Figure4)andinstallcovers.
10.Installthebatteryintothechassis(Figure3).
11.Securethebatteryinthechassiswiththebattery
holddown,rods,andwingnuts(Figure3).
12.Usingtheboltandwingnutsuppliedwiththe
battery,connectthepositive(red)cabletothe
positive(+)batterypost(Figure3).Slidetherubber
coveroverthebatterypost.
13.Usingtheboltandwingnutsuppliedwiththe
battery,connectthenegative(black)cabletothe
negative(–)batterypost(Figure3).
Note:Ensurethatthebatterycablesdonotcontact
anysharpedgesoreachother.
