thattheairgapissetcorrectly.
2.Tightenthesparkplugsto24.4to29.8N-m(18to
22ft-lb).
3.Connectthewirestothesparkplugs(Figure24).
ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every500hours
Neverinstalladirtylterifitisremovedfromthefuelline.
1.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
2.Allowthemachinetocooldown.
3.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclampstogetherandslide
themawayfromthelter(Figure26).

Wipeupanygasolinethatspills.
Neversmokewhendraininggasoline,andstay
awayfromanopenameorwhereasparkmay
ignitethegasolinefumes.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfacetoensurethatthe
fueltanksdraincompletely.
2.Stoptheengineandremovethekey.
3.Loosenthehoseclampatthefuellterandslideitup
thefuellineawayfromthefuellter(Figure26).
4.Disconnectthefuellinefromthefuellter(Figure26).
Note:Allowgasolinetodrainintoafuelcontainercan
ordrainpan(Figure26).
