Procedure
1.Removetheclipssecuringthebatterycovertothe
batterybox(Figure4).Removethecoverfromthebox.

WARNING
Batteryterminalsormetaltoolscouldshort
againstmetalprocessorcomponentscausing
sparks.Sparkscancausethebatterygassesto
explode,resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Whenremovingorinstallingthebattery,
donotallowthebatteryterminalstotouch
anymetalpartsofthemachine.
•Donotallowmetaltoolstoshortbetween
tryterminalsandmetalpartsofthe
machine.
2.Attachthepositivecable(redcable)tothepositive(+)
terminal(

Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
theblowerandcablescausingsparks.Sparks
cancausethebatterygassestoexplode,
resultinginpersonalinjury.
•Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.
•Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)battery
cablebeforeconnectingthenegative
(black)cable.
