Operationalsequenceofthecontrollerstartbuttons:
Pressingastartbuttononce(AllStart,Floor
StartorOptionStart)callsupthecurrent
workingmemorysettingstoredinthecontroller
Bypressingthesamestartbuttonasecondtime
thecomponentisactivatedifthehydraulicsare
notengaged(itshowsnumbersrampingupin
display),orthecomponentisturnedonifthe
hydraulicsareengaged.
Pressingthesamestartbuttonathirdtime
willstorethenewsettingestablishedinthe
controller’sworkingmemory.
Afterpressingastartbuttononcetoviewthe
currentworkingmemorysettinginanon-working
mode,thereisapproximately10secondstobegin
adjustingthesettingortheelementwillrevertback
toOFF .Inaworkingmode,the10secondruleis
gone.
Toprogramapreset,thekeytorememberisthe
elementsmustbeactivatedorengaged.
Tooperatefromapreset,theelementspeed
percentagesmustbeinthedisplaytoactivateor
engagethem.IfthewordsOFFareinthedisplay,
thepresetmustberecalled.
LiquidCrystalDisplay(LCD)
Thetwoline,8characterperlineLCD(LiquidCrystal
Display)showsstatusandactivityastheRemote
buttonsarepressed.Itfeaturesuseradjustable
backlightingandcontrast.Changesaresavedinthe
Remotecurrentworkingmemory.Whentheunitis
turnedonafterbeingpowereddown,thelastsettings
forContrastandBacklightingareusedforthedisplay.

RemoteFrontPanelLayoutwhenadjustingContrast
andBacklighting.

Note:DecreasingtheBacklightingtozeroeffectively
turnsitoff.Backlightingconsumesthemostenergy
ofallHandheldRemotefunctions.Increasingthe
backlightingincreasespowerconsumptionandwill
shortenthelifespanofthebatteries;thelowerthe
backlighting,thelongerthebatterylifespan.
StatusLEDs
TwoLEDs,aGreen(Transmit)andAmber(Receive)
areusedtoindicateHandheldRemoteactivity.
GREENLED:
AashingGreenLEDindicatesamessageisbeing
transmittedtotheBaseUnit.
AsolidGreenLEDindicatesaHandheldRemote
buttonispressed.
AMBERLED:,
AashingAMBERLEDindicatesamessageisbeing
receivedfromtheBaseUnit.
AsolidAMBERLEDindicatesoneormoreBaseUnit
outputsareactive.
Power
TheHandheldRemoteispoweredbyfourfactory
installed1.5VAAAlkalinebatteriesandoperates
between1.6to3.2V .Batterylifeexpectationis
approximately300hours(continuousoperation,
backlightoff),butbatterylifelongevityisaffected
byusagefactors,particularlybacklightintensity
setting—thehigherthebacklightsetting,themore
powerconsumedresultinginshorterbatterylife.
Note:Itisrecommendedthatfreshsparebatteriesbe
athandatalltimesthatthesystemisinuse.
Note:Atsomepoint,theHandheldRemotemaysense
thatthevoltageisatthelowthreshold(approximately
1.7V)atwhichthedisplaywillshowthemessageLOW
BATTERY .Themessagewillcyclewiththecurrent
