SettingthePreset1,2,and3
Buttons
ThreePresetvaluesthatsimultaneouslyaffectboththe
FLOORandtheOPTIONoutputsareprovided.Each
Presetbuttonactsessentiallylikeapreviewmodefor
theALLSTART,exceptthattheyusedifferent,user
denedquickreferencespeedvalues.IftheFLOOR
and/ortheOPTIONhappentoberunningatthetime
thePresetispushed,apreviewvalueofbothFloorand
OptionisdisplayedandiftheALLSTARTbuttonis
thenpressedthecurrentoperatingvaluesarereplaced
bythePresetvalues.
TheuserdenedPresetvaluesforPRESET1,PRESET
2,andPRESET3areindividuallysetasfollows:
1.StartbothFLOORandOPTIONeitherindividually
orbyusingtheALLSTARTbutton
.
2.SetthedesiredspeedsofbothFLOORand
OPTIONbyusingtheappropriateIncreaseand
Decreasespeedbuttonsforeachoutput.
3.PressandholdtheSTORE
buttonandthen
pressthePRESETbutton(1,2,or3).
Note:IfSTOREisheldandaPresetbuttonpressed
whileeitherFLOORorOPTIONareoff,nonewvalue
isstoredforeitherFloororOption;thePresetholds
thevaluespreviouslystored.
ToOperateinPresetMode
TobeginworkoroperatefromaPresetmodedothe
following:
1.PressthedesiredPresetbutton(1,2or3)todisplay
theFloorandOptionsettings.
2.PressAllStart,AllStarttostorethesettingstothe
currentworkingmemory.Note:thiswillturnonthe
FloorandOptionifthehydraulicsareturnedon.
3.UsetheStartandStopbuttonstocontroltheFloor
andOptionasdesired
BatteryLife,BUMPS,
OperatingFrequency,Base&
RemoteIDDisplay
HoldingdowntheALLSTOPandOPTION
STOPbuttonssimultaneouslyresultsindisplayof
multiplepointsofinformation.Ifthebuttonsremain
helddown,thedisplaycyclesapproximatelyeverytwo
(2)secondsdisplayingrstthebatterylifeexpectancy
inpercentremainingonlineone,andBUMPS—Base
UnitMessagesPerSecond—informationonlinetwo.
ThesubsequentcycledisplaystheOperatingFrequency
(Channel)onwhichtheunitscommunicate,then
theHandheldRemoteIDnumber,followedbythe
associatedBaseUnitID.BothhandheldandbaseIDs
areshownashexadecimalvalues.
TowVehicle
WARNING
Alwaysuseasuitabletowvehicletomovethe
ProPass,evenforshortdistances.Anunsuitable
towvehiclecandamagetheProPass,orcause
injuryordeath.
Theoverrideaccessisonthedriversideofthe
hydraulicsystem.(seeFigure15)
Asuitabletowvehiclemusthaveaminimumtowing
capacity3,400lbof(1,405kg).
Ontow-behindchassisthemaximumcarryingloadfor
theProPassis2,000lb(907kg),witharesultingtongue
weightof250lb(113kg).Thetareweight(noload)
is1,100lb(499kg),witharesultingtongueweightof
50lb(23kg).
TheresultingtongueweightoftheProPassttedwith
the11HPHydraulicPowerPackwhenoperating
withafullloadis145kg(320lb).Theresultingnoload
tongueweightis105lb(48kg).Thetareweight(no
load)is1,320lb(599kg).
OnTrucksterdirectconnectchassisthemaximum
carryingloadfortheProPassis2,000lb(907kg),with
aresultingweighttransferof600lbs(272kg)tothe
towvehicle.Thetareweight(noload)is1,200lb(544
kg),witharesultingweighttransferof115lb(52kg)to
thetowvehicle.
Loading
WARNING
EnsurethattheProPassisconnectedtothetow
vehiclebeforeloading.
Donotcarryloadsthatexceedtheloadlimitsofthe
ProPass,orthetowvehicle(seeSpecications).
Thestabilityofloadscanvary-forexample,high
loadswillhaveahighercenterofgravity.Reduce
themaximumloadlimitstoensurebetterstability,if
necessary.
