LOOSE PARTS The large shipping carton containing the 680 Aerator also includes: 8 A smaller fiat carton containing the right and left Handles, * A wrapped Cross Bar and Tine Control Lever Assembly. # A plastic bag containing sixteen (16) Tines. ® A plastic bag containing the Weight Bar. & A plastic bag containing this Operator's Manual, a Set-Up Report Card and a Registration Card, fo be filled out and mailed to TOR.

Securely tighten all fasteners holding the Handles to the Main Frame. 7. Remove Belt Cover. 8. Hack the tension of the Drive Belt, with the Tine Control Lever engaged.
BEFORE OPERATING IMPORTANT! The engine and gear reducer is shipped without engine oil or gasoline. ADD ENGINE CRANKCASE OIL: Remove the oil fill plug as shown in FIG. 6 and add approximately 21 ounces (0.6 fighters) of oil. OIL FILL PLUG Fig. 6 See chart below for recommended grade. Do not overfill, Use no special additives with recommended oils. Do not mix oit with gasoline.
CONTROLS TINE CONTROL LEVER: Engages and disengages the R Reel drive. See FIG. 8. ® Push the Tine Control Lever FORWARD, away from the operator, to engage the Reel drive and start Reel rotating. ® Pull the Lever BACKWARD toward the operator, to disengage the Reel drive and stop the Reel from rotating. THROTTLE/CHOKE CONTROL LEVER: Connects to and operates the engine's carburetor linkage. See FIG. 8. The Control has four (4) positions, CHOKE I, FAST @, SLOW % and stop .
6. Tilt the Aerator forward until the Tines make contact with the soil suriace...the relating Tines will cause the machine to move forward. 6. ADJUSTMENTS REEL DRIVE BELT: Lengthen or shorten the distance between the Tine Control Aver and Idler Arm Assembly when necessary, 1o increase or decrease the tension on the Reef Drive Belt. 1. Remove the hair pin cotter farm the Clutch Rod and remove the Rod from the Tine Contort Lever. 2. Tums threads end of the Clutch Rod clockwise into the Clovis Yoke to increase the Belt tension or, turn the Rod counter-clockwise, out of the Yoke to decrease, the Belt tension. 3.
