Procedures

Theperformanceofcertainmaintenance,adjustments,or

repairoperationswillbedeterminedbytheowner’sfacilities.

Excessivetiltingofthemachineforthepurposeofunder-deck

servicingshouldbeavoided.Ifthemachineistiltedthereisa

riskthatengineoilcanenterthecylinderheadoftheengine

andtransmissionoilcanleakfromtheoilcaplocatedontop

oftheoiltank.Theseleaksmayresultinexpensiverepairs

tothemachine.Soitisnotrecommendedunlessabsolutely

necessary.Forthepurposeofunder-deckservicing,itis

recommendedthatthemachinebeliftedonahoistorsmall

crane.
