3.Holdontothesteeringwheel,andslowlypresseither
theleftorrightmotionpedalwithyourcorresponding
foot,inwhicheverdirectionyouwishtomove.
Note:Thefurtheryoupressthepedal,thefasteryou
willtravelinthatdirection.
4.Tostop,releasethefootpedalandthemachinewill
stop.
Note:Asyoubecomefamiliarwiththemachine,you
willgetthefeelforwhenyoushouldreleasethefoot
pedal,whichwillbepriortowhereyouwanttonish
therun,asthemachinewillcontinuetorollforashort
timeafteryoureleasethepedal.Asyoucometoa
completestop,gentlypresstheotherfootpedalfor
yourreturnpass.
Note:Donotpressthefootpedalstooquickly;this
willresultinpossibleskiddingandscufngoftheturf
underthedriverolleraswellasdamagetothedrive
system.Youshouldalwaysoperatethefootpedalsina
controlledmanner.
5.Tomoveforwardorbacksimplyturnthesteering
wheeltosuitthedirectionforwhichyouareaiming.
Note:Asthedirectionchangesattheendofevery
run,youwillneedtopracticewiththemachineto
becomeaccustomedtothesteering.Tomoveforward
whiletraversingtotheright,turnthesteeringwheel
counterclockwise.Tomoveforwardwhiletraversing
totheleft,turnthesteeringwheelclockwise.Thisis
reversedifyouwanttomovebackward.
Important:Tostopthemachineinanemergency,
presstheotherpedaltotheneutralposition.Asan
example,withtherightpedalpressedandtraveling
totheright,presstheleftpedaltoneutraltobring
themachinetoastop.Thisactionmustberm
butnotsuddenasitmaycausethemachinetotip
sideways.
6.Beforedismountingthemachine,makesurethatitis
parkedonalevelsurface.Chockthewheelsorrollers
asrequired.
