tensioningrod,youcanmovethelockingnutnextto
thetensioningnut,anduseitasajamnut.
4.Whenthechaindeectsfrom5mmto8mm(0.2inch
to0.3inch),tightenthelockingnutonthetensioning
rod.
Storage
1.Removegrassclippings,dirt,andgrimefromthe
externalpartsoftheentiremachine,especiallythe
rollersandtheengine.Cleandirtandchafffromthe
outsideoftheengine'scylinderheadnsandblower
housing.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewithmild
detergentandwater.Donotpressurewashthe
machine.Avoidexcessiveuseofwater,especially
neartheengine.
2.Forlong-termstorage(morethan90days)add
stabilizer/conditioneradditivetofuelinthetank.
A.Runtheenginetodistributeconditionedfuel
throughthefuelsystem(5minutes).
B.Eitherstopengine,allowittocool,anddrainthe
fueltank,oroperatetheengineuntilitstops.
C.Starttheengineagainandrunituntilitstops.
Repeat,withthechokeon,untiltheenginewill
notstart.
D.Disposeoffuelproperly.Recycleitaccordingto
localcodes.
3.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repairor
replaceanypartthatisdamagedordefective.
4.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.
