1.Parkthemachineonaclean,levelsurfacewiththetransportwheelsinthe
raisedandlockedposition.Shutofftheengine.
2.Removethe4wheel-lugnuts,andremovethewheelandtireassemblyfrom
thehub.
3.Removethebolt,lockwasher,andcollarthatsecurethehubassemblyto
thespindle,andremovethehubfromthespindle.
4.Inspectthebearingsinthehubassemblyandreplaceasnecessary.
InstallingtheWheelandHub
RefertoFigure88forthisprocedure.
1.Cleanallthecomponentsbeforeassembly.
2.Ifabearingoradrivestud(item9)isremoved,ensurethatitispressed
intopositionfullyduringinstallation.
3.Applyathincoatofanti-seizelubricanttothespindleandsecurethehub
assemblytothespindlewiththebolt,lockwasher,andcollar.
4.Installthewheelandtireassemblywiththe4wheel-lugnutsandtightenthe
wheel-lugnutsto108N∙m(80ft-lb)inanalternatingpattern.
