(Figure12).Ifacomponentfailureoccursinthetransmission,unwantedmaterial
andcontaminationfromthedamagedcomponentwillcirculatethroughoutthe
system.Thiscontaminationcandamageothercomponentsinthesystem,so
removethecontaminationtopreventadditionalcomponentfailure.
Ifatransmissionfailureoccurs,disassembletheentirehydraulicsystem,
drainthehydraulicuid,andcleanallthecomponentsandhosesinthe
hydraulicsystem.Replacethehydraulicuidlter.Operatingthemachine
withcontaminantsinthehydraulicsystemcouldcauseadditionaldamageto
componentsofthehydraulicsystem.
