B.Recordthetesterpressureandowreadings.NoLoadpumpoutput
shouldbeapproximately34lpm(9gpm).
9.VerifythepumpowUnderLoadasfollows:
A.WiththeRIGHTmotioncontrolpedalatthefullforwardposition,apply
anadditionalloadof7,600kPa(1,100psi)byslowlyclosingthetester
owcontrolvalve.
B.Recordthetesterpressureandowreadings.
C.Returnthemotioncontrollevertotheneutralposition,engagetheparking
brake,setthethrottletolowenginespeed,andshutofftheengine.
10.Theunderloadtestowreading(step9C)shouldnotdropmorethan25%
whencomparedtothenoloadtestowreading(step8B).Adifferenceof
morethan30%mayindicatethehydraulicpumpiswornandshouldbe
repairedorreplaced.
11.VerifytheRIGHTtractionreliefvalveoperationasfollows:
A.Startandruntheengineat3600RPM.
B.Sitintheoperator’sseat,disengagetheparkingbrakeandslowlypress
andholdtheRIGHTmotioncontrolpedalatthefullforwardposition.
C.Slowlyclosethetesterowcontrolvalvewhilewatchingthetester
pressuregauge.
Thesystempressureshouldreach15,860to17,240kPa(2,300to2,500
psi)beforethereliefvalveopens.
Note:Thereliefvalvesettingis16,000kPa(2,320psi).Anadditional
690to1,030kPa(100to200psi)isnecessarytoovercomethesystem
chargepressurebeforethereliefvalveopens.
D.Recordthetesterpressurereading.
E.Openthetesterowcontrolvalvefully,engagetheparkingbrake,setthe
throttletolowenginespeed,andshutofftheengine.
12.VerifytheLEFTtractionreliefvalveoperationasfollows:
A.Disconnectthehydraulictesterformthehydraulichoses.
IMPORTANT
Topreventhydraulictesterdamage,makesurethattheoilow
directionindicatoronthetesterisinstalledsotheoilwillow
fromthedisconnectedmotorAporthydraulichose,throughthe
testerandintothedisconnectedmotorBporthydraulichose.
B.Installthehydraulictesterinserieswiththedisconnectedhoses.
C.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed.Checkforhydraulicuid
leaksfromthetestconnectionsandcorrectbeforecontinuingthetest.
D.Setthethrottletofullenginespeed.
E.Sitintheoperator’sseat,disengagetheparkingbrakeandslowlypress
andholdtheLEFTmotioncontrolpedalatthefullforwardposition.
F.Slowlyclosethetesterowcontrolvalvewhilewatchingthetester
pressuregauge.
