Wheneverhydraulicuidhasbeendrainedfromthepump(systemdrain,ush,
orpumpremoval/installation)itisimportanttoproperlyprimethehydraulicpump.
Primingthehydraulicpumpensuresthatthepumphassufcienthydraulicuid
whilechargingthehydraulicsystem.
IMPORTANT
Ifthehydraulicpumpwasrebuiltorreplaced,makesurethepump
housingisatleasthalffullofcleanhydraulicuidafterinstallation.
1.Makesureallhydraulicconnectionsandlinesaresecuredtightly.
2.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelinthehydraulictankandadjustasnecessary;
refertotheOperator’sManual.
3.WiththeignitionswitchintheOffpositionpulltheenginerecoilstarter5
times.Wait15secondsthenpulltheenginerecoilstarter5moretimes.
4.Chargethehydraulicsystem;refertoChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page
5–42).
