InstallingtheHydraulicPump
RefertoFigure37forthisprocedure.
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromthepump,lubricateandinstall
newO-ringstothettings.Installthettingsintothepump;refertoInstalling
theHydraulicFittings(page5–14).
IMPORTANT
Ensurethatyoudonotdamagethemachinecomponentswhile
installingthehydraulicpump.
2.Positionthesquarekey(item4inFigure37)tothekeyslotinthehydraulic
pumpshaft.
3.Insertthehydraulicpumpshaftintothehydraulicpumpdrivecollarthrough
theengineplate.
4.Securethehydraulicpumptotheengineplatewiththe2bolts(item7in
Figure37),4plainwashers,and2nuts.
5.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydraulichosesandttings.
6.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringtheremovalprocesstocorrectly
connectthehydraulichosestothettingsonthehydraulicpump;referto
InstallingtheHydraulicHosesandTubes(page5–12).
7.Securetheneutralswitch(item17inFigure37)tothecontrolarmwiththe2
slotted-headscrewsandtappedplate.
8.Connectthewireharnesselectricalconnectortotheneutralswitch.
9.Positionthetractioncableandbushingtothehydraulicpumpcontrolarm
andsecurethetractioncabletothecontrolarmwiththeange-headscrew
(item13inFigure37),atwasher,andangenut.
10.Installthetransmissioncovertothemachine;refertoTransmissionCover
(page7–58).
11.Checkthehydraulicuidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrectquantity
ofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.
12.Operatethemachinefunctionsslowlyuntilairisoutofsystem;referto
ChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page5–42).
13.Checkthehydraulicpumpandmotioncontrolpedalreturntoneutral
operationandadjustasnecessary;refertoAdjustingtheControlPedal
ReturntoNeutralMechanism(page5–29).
