theelement,butdonottwistit,becausethefoam
maytear.
C.Saturatetheelementwithcleanengineoil.
Note:Squeezetheelementtoremoveexcessoil
andtodistributetheoilthoroughly.Thefoam
elementshouldbedampwithoil.
8.Cleanthepaperelementbytappingthelterelement
severaltimesonahardsurfacetoremovethedirt.
Note:Neverbrushdirtofftheelementoruse
compressedairtoremovedirt;brushingforcesdirt
intothebersandcompressedairwilldamagethe
paperlter.
9.Installthefoamelement,thepaperelement,andthe
air-cleanercover.
Important:Donotoperatetheenginewithout
theair-cleanerelements,becauseextremeengine
wearanddamagewilllikelyresult.
ServicingtheSparkPlug
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Check/adjustthespark
plug.
Every300hours—Replacethesparkplug.
Type:NGKBPR6ESsparkplugorequivalent
AirGap:0.70to0.80mm(0.028to0.031inch);referto
