Checktheoperationoftheinterlockswitchesdailyforproper
operation.
Replaceanymalfunctioningswitchesorrepairanydamagedwiring
beforeoperatingthemachine.
AllGreensPromachinesaboveserialnumber315000000areequippedwithan
InterlockModulewhichmonitorsthepositionoftheparkingbrakeswitch,seat
switch,andneutralswitch.
1.Testtheparkingbrakeinput:
A.Engagetheparkingbrakeandstarttheengine.
B.Withtheoperator’sseatunoccupied,disengagetheparkingbrake.The
engineshouldstopinapproximately1second.
2.Testtheseatswitchinput:
A.Engagetheparkingbrakeandstarttheengine.
B.Sitintheoperatorseatanddisengagetheparkingbrake.
C.Liftyourweightfromtheoperatorseat.Theengineshouldstopin
approximately1second.
3.Testtheneutralswitchinput:
A.Engagetheparkingbrakeandstarttheengine.
B.Sitintheoperatorseat.
C.Withtheparkingbrakeengaged,movethemotioncontrolpedalsintoa
MOVEposition.Theengineshouldstopinapproximately1second.
Ifthemachinedoesnotreactasdescribedinthepreviousprocedure,testthe
individualswitchesintheinterlocksystemasdescribedinT estingtheElectrical
Components(page6–14).
