1.Ensurethatallthethreads,thesealingsurfacesofthehose/tube,andthe
ttingarefreeofburrs,nicks,scratches,orunwantedmaterial.
2.Alignthehose/tubeagainstthebodyofthettingsothatthefaceofthe
hose/tubesleevefullytouchesthefaceofthetting.
Note:Itmaybenecessarytouseadrive-adapterwrench(e.g.,crowfoot
wrench)toinstallahydraulictting;refertoCalculatingtheT orqueValues
WhenUsingaDrive-AdapterWrench(page2–5).
3.Useyourhandtothreadtheswivelnutontothetting.Whileyouholdthe
hose/tubeinalignmentwithawrench,useatorquewrenchtotightenthe
swivelnuttotherecommendedtorquevaluewithinthespeciedrangeof
torquevalues;refertotheHose/TubeInstallationT orqueTable(page5–12).
IMPORTANT
ThehydraulichosesusedontheGreensPro1240machineshave
BSPP(BritishStandardParallelPipe)threads.Thehydraulichoses
usedontheGreensPro1260machineshaveORFS(O-RingFace
Seal)threads.Ifhosesarereplaced,ensurethatthereplacement
hasthecorrecttypeofthreads,orcomponentdamageandleakage
willoccur.
