AdjustingtheControlPedalReturntoNeutralMechanism
Thereturntoneutralmechanismisdesignedtoreturnthetransmission/hydraulic
pumpcontrollevertoaneutralposition(noleftorrightmovementofthedrive
roller),andreturnthemotioncontrolpedalstoapositiondirectlyacrossfrom
eachotherwhenthemotioncontrolpedalsarereleased.
Thisprocedureinvolvescheckingandadjustingthecontrolarmsettingatthe
transmission/hydraulicpumprst,thencheckingandadjustingthemotioncontrol
linkage.
CAUTION
Useasuitableliftingdevicetosafelyraiseandsupportthemachine
toaccessthecomponentsunderthechassis.
AdjustingProcedureforGreensPro1240
1.Parkthemachineonaclean,levelsurfaceandsetthetransportwheelsto
theloweredandlockedposition.Placeajackstandunderthefrontofthe
chassistopreventthemachinefromtippingforward.Thedriverollermust
beoffthegroundandfreetorotate.
2.Removethetransmissioncoverfromthemachine;refertotheRemoving
theTransmissionCover(page7–59).
3.Ensurethattheentiremotioncontrollinkageassemblyissecureandmoves
freelyinbothdirections;refertoMotionControlLinkage(GreensPro1240)
(page7–15).
4.Removethelinkagerodfromthetransmissioncontrolarm(Figure25).
