Storage
1.Removegrassclippings,dirt,andgrimefromthe
externalpartsoftheentiremachine,especiallythe
rollersandtheengine.Cleandirtandchafffrom
theoutsideofthecylinder-headnsandtheblower
housingontheengine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewithmild
detergentandwater.Donotpressurewashthe
machine.Avoidexcessiveuseofwater,especially
neartheengine.
2.Forlong-termstorage(morethan90days)add
stabilizer/conditioneradditivetofuelinthetank.
A.Runtheenginetodistributetheconditionedfuel
throughthefuelsystem(5minutes).
B.Eithershutofftheengine,allowittocool,and
drainthefueltank,oroperatetheengineuntilit
shutsoff.
C.Starttheengineandrunituntilitshutsoff.
Repeattheprocedurewiththechokeonuntilthe
enginedoesnotstartagain.
D.Disposeoffuelproperly.Recycleitaccordingto
localcodes.
3.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.Repairor
replaceanypartthatiswornordamaged.
4.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paintis
availablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDistributor.
5.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstoragearea.
Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepitclean.
