•Usingthemachinedemandsattention.Topreventloss
ofcontrol:
–Donotdriveclosetosandtraps,ditches,creeks,or
otherhazards.
–Reducespeedwhenmakingturns.Avoidsudden
stopsandstarts.
•Donottouchtheengine,mufer,orexhaustpipewhile
theengineisrunningorsoonafterithasshutoff,because
theseareascouldbehotenoughtocauseburns.
•Whenapersonorpetappearsunexpectedlyinornearthe
workarea,stopoperation.
MaintenanceandStorage
•Checkallfuellinesfortightnessandwearonaregular
basis.Tightenorrepairthemasneeded.
•Ifyoumustruntheenginetoperformamaintenance
adjustment,keepyourhands,feet,clothing,andanyparts
ofthebodyawayfromtherollers,attachments,andany
movingparts.Keepeveryoneaway.
•Toensuresafetyandaccuracy,haveanAuthorizedToro
Distributorcheckthemaximumenginespeedwitha
tachometer.Themaximum-governedenginespeed
shouldbe3,600rpm.
•Ifthemachineeverneedsmajorrepairsorifyoudesire
assistance,contactanAuthorizedToroDistributor.
•Toensureoptimumperformanceandcontinuedsafety
certicationofthemachine,useonlygenuineToro
replacementpartsandaccessories.Replacementparts
andaccessoriesmadebyothermanufacturerscouldbe
dangerous,andsuchusecouldvoidtheproductwarranty.
