•Beforeyouleavetheoperator’sposition,dothe
following:
–Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
–Movethethrottlelevertotheidleposition.
–Ensurethatthemotionpedalsareinneutral
position.
–Engagetheparkingbrake.
–Shutofftheengine.
–Waitforallmovingpartstostop.
–Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
servicing,orcleaning.
•Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
•Usejackstandstosupportthemachineor
componentswhenrequired.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
