1.Shutoffthemachineandwaitforallmovement
tostopbeforeyouleavetheoperatorsposition.
Allowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
2.Removegrassclippings,dirt,andgrimefromthe
externalpartsoftheentiremachine,especially
therollersandtheengine.Cleandirtandchaff
fromtheoutsideofthecylinder-headnsand
theblowerhousingontheengine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthemachine.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallyneartheengine.
3.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.
Repairorreplaceanypartthatiswornor
damaged.
4.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paint
isavailablefromyourauthorizedTorodistributor.

1.PerformallthestepsinPreparingtheMachine
forShort-TermStorage(page36).
2.Preparefuelwithstabilizer/conditioneraccording
tothemanufacturer'sinstructions.
3.Addthefuelwithstabilizer/conditionertothefuel
tank.
4.Runtheenginetodistributetheconditionedfuel
throughthefuelsystemfor5minutes.
5.Eithershutofftheengine,allowittocool,and
drainthefueltank,oroperatetheengineuntil
itshutsoff.
6.Starttheengineandrunituntilitshutsoff.
Repeattheprocedurewiththechokeonuntil
theenginedoesnotstartagain.
7.Disposeoffuelproperly.Recycleitaccording
tolocalcodes.
StoringtheMachine
Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstorage
area.Coverthemachinetoprotectitandkeepit
clean.
