ChangingtheEngineOil
ServiceInterval:Aftertherst20hours—Change
theengineoil.
Every100hours—Changetheengineoil.
1.Startandruntheengineforafewminutesto
warmtheengineoil;thenshutofftheengine.
2.Raisethemachineontothetransportwheels.
3.Tiltthemachinesothattheendofthemachine
withtheengineisclosertotheground,and
supporttheotherendtoholditinthisposition.
4.Installthedrainhoseontothedrainvalve(Figure
30).
5.Placetheotherendofthehoseintoasuitable
containerforoil(Figure30).

6.Turntheoildrainvalve1/4turncounterclockwise
tostartdrainingtheoil(Figure30).
7.Whenalltheoilisdrained,turntheoildrainvalve
1/4turnclockwisetoclosethevalve(Figure30).
8.Removethedrainhoseandwipeanyoilthat
mayhavespilled.
9.Fillthecrankcasewiththespeciedoil;referto
CheckingtheLeveloftheEngineOil(page14).
10.Disposeoftheoilproperly.Recycleitaccording
tolocalcodes.
