Theentiremotioncontrollinkageassemblymustbesecureandmovefreelyin
bothdirections.Themotioncontrolpedalsshouldcontactthepedalstopbolts
justbeforethecontrolarmassemblyreachestheendofitsrotation(inboth
directions).Repairorreplacethemotioncontrollinkageassemblycomponents
asnecessary(Figure66).
CAUTION
Useasuitableliftingdevicetosafelyraiseandsupportthemachine
togetaccesstothecomponentsunderthechassis.
Bothofthelinkagerodendshaveright-handthreads.Oneofthelinkagerod
endsmustbedisconnectedfromthemachinetoadjustthelinkagerodlength.
Note:Leavethelinkagerodhexnutslooseuntiltherodendshavebeensecured
andtherodlengthisadjusted.
Afterassembly,checkthehydraulicpumpandmotioncontrolpedalreturnto
neutraloperationandadjustasnecessary;refertoAdjustingtheControlPedal
ReturntoNeutralMechanism(page5–29).
