Thetransportframemustbesecureandmovefreelyinboththeraiseand
lowerdirections.Thelatchesmustholdthetransportframesecurelyinboththe
raisedandloweredpositions.Repairorreplacethetransportframecomponents
asnecessary.
Withtheexceptionofthetransportframeitself,thetransportframecomponents
canberemovedforrepairorreplacementwithoutremovingthetransportframe
fromthechassis.
RemovingtheTransportFrame
RefertoFigure89forthisprocedure.
1.Parkmachineonaclean,levelsurfacewiththetransportwheelsinthe
raisedbutunlockedposition.Shutofftheengine.Engagetheparkingbrake
ifequipped,orremovethesparkplugwirefromthesparkplug.
2.Removethetransmissioncoverfromthemachine;refertoRemovingthe
TransmissionCover(page7–59).
3.Disconnectthemainwireharnessatthefollowinglocations:
A.Hourmeterharness
B.Interlockmodule(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
C.Seatswitch(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
D.Parkingbrakeswitch(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
4.Disconnecttheparkingbrakecablefromthebrakeleverifequipped(Figure
90).
