9.Supportthehitchendofthetransportframeandremovethebolts,lock
washers,atwashers,clampplates,andupperhalvesoftheclampsfrom
thechassis.
CAUTION
Theweightofthetransportframeassemblyisapproximately47kg
(104lb).
10.Useasuitableliftingdevicetosafelyliftthetransportframeassemblyfrom
thechassis.
InstallingtheTransportFrame
RefertoFigure89forthisprocedure.
1.Useasuitableliftingdevicetosafelyliftthetransportframeassemblyonto
thechassis.
2.Centerthetransportframeoverchassislefttorightandsecurethetransport
frametothechassiswiththebolts,lockwashers,atwashers,clampplates,
andclamps.Tightentheclampboltsfrom18to24N∙m(13to18ft-lb).
3.Movethetransportframepastthelatchandinstallthegasspring(item3)to
thetransportframe.
4.Installthedamper(item2)tothetransportframe.
5.Securethelatchlevertothetransportframewiththefastenerspreviously
removed.
6.Installtheseatsupporttothechassiswithseat,seatpan,manualtube,etc.
attached.Securetheseatsupporttothechassisandrearsupportframewith
thefastenerspreviouslyremoved.
7.Connecttheparkingbrakecableifequipped.
8.Connectthemainwireharnessatthefollowinglocations:
A.Hourmeterharness
B.Interlockmodule(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
C.Seatswitch(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
D.Parkingbrakeswitch(machineserialnumberabove315000000)
9.Installthetransmissioncovertothemachine;refertoInstallingthe
TransmissionCover(page7–59).
10.Checkthetransportframeforproperlatchandliftpedaloperationbefore
returningthemachinetoservice;refertotheOperator’sManual.
