8.Connecta0to500psipressuregaugetothechargecircuittestport
9.Connecta0to5000psipressuregaugetothepumpAport.
10.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed.Checkforhydraulicuidleaks
fromthetestconnectionsandcorrectbeforecontinuingthetest.
11.Setthethrottletofullenginespeed(3,600rpm).Useanon-contact
tachometer(phototach)toverifytheenginespeed.
12.Runtheengineforapproximately10minutestowarmthehydraulicoil.
13.Recordthereadingonthepressuregaugeatthechargecircuittestport.
Chargepressure(withoutload)shouldreadapproximately550kPa(80psi).
Ifchargepressurespecicationisnotmet,considerthefollowing:
A.Testthehydraulicpumpowandpressurereliefoperation;referto
TestingtheTractionCircuitHydraulicPumpFlowandReliefPressure
Test(GreensPro1260)(page5–25).
B.Thehydraulicpumpchargereliefvalveorchargepumpisfaulty.Repair
orreplacethechargereliefvalveorchargepump;refertoServicingthe
HydraulicPump(GreensPro1260)(page5–54).
14.Sitintheoperator’sseat,releasetheparkingbrake,andslowlydepressthe
RIGHTmotioncontrolpedaluntil6895to10,350kPa(1000to1500psi)is
reachedonthepressuregaugeatthepumpAport.
15.Recordthereadingonthepressuregaugeatthechargecircuittestport.
Releasethemotioncontrolpedal,setthethrottletolowspeedandshut
theengineoff.
16.Chargepressure(underload)shouldnotdropmorethan20%when
comparedtochargepressure(withoutload)recordedinstep.Ifcharge
pressurespecicationisnotmet,testthehydraulicpumpowandpressure
reliefoperation;refertoT estingtheTractionCircuitHydraulicPumpFlow
andReliefPressureT est(GreensPro1260)(page5–25).
