Load.Adropinowunderloadofmorethan12%indicatesaninternalleakor
malfunctioningreliefvalveinthehydraulicpump.Awornhydraulicpumpor
malfunctioningreliefvalveislessefcient.Eventually,enoughuidbypasswill
causetheunittostallunderheavyloadconditions.Continuedoperationcan
generateexcessiveheat,causedamagetosealsandothercomponentsinthe
hydraulicsystem,andaffectoverallmachineperformance.
SpecialEquipmentRequired:
•Hydraulictesterwithowmeterwithpressuregaugewithaminimum45
lpm(12gpm)capacity.
•Non-contacttachometer(phototach)
TestProcedure
1.EnsurethatthemotioncontrolpedalsarecorrectlyadjustedfortheNEUTRAL
position.Also,ensurethatthehydraulicpumpisatfullstrokewhenthe
motioncontrolpedalsaremovedtothefullforwardposition.
2.Parkthemachineonaclean,levelsurfacewiththetransportwheelsinthe
raisedandlockedposition,shutofftheengine,andengagetheparkingbrake.
CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,pressthemotioncontrol
pedalstoreleasethepressureinthesystemandavoidinjuryfrom
thepressurizedhydraulicuid.
