3.Cleanthejunctionofthehydraulichosesandstraightttingsatthehydraulic
motor(Figure24).Tagthehosestocorrespondwiththemotorports(Aand
B)thendisconnectthehosesfromthettings.Capthemotorttingsto
preventcontaminationfromenteringthesystem.

IMPORTANT
Topreventhydraulictesterdamage,makesurethattheoilow
directionindicatoronthetesterisinstalledsotheoilwillowfrom
thedisconnectedmotorBporthydraulichose,throughthetester
andintothedisconnectedmotorAporthydraulichose.
4.Installthehydraulictester(owandpressure)inserieswiththedisconnected
hoses.
5.Makesuretheowcontrolvalveonthetesterisfullyopen.
6.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed.Checkforhydraulicuidleaks
fromthetestconnectionsandcorrectbeforecontinuingthetest.
7.Setthethrottletofullenginespeed(3,600rpm).Useanon-contact
tachometer(phototach)toverifytheenginespeed.
8.VerifythepumpowatNoLoadasfollows:
A.Sitintheoperator’sseat,disengagetheparkingbrakeandslowlypress
andholdtheRIGHTmotioncontrolpedalatthefullforwardposition.
