inspectthethreadsonthelinkagerodtodeterminethedirectionofthe
threads.

1.Parkthemachineonaclean,levelsurfaceandsetthetransportwheelsto
theloweredandlockedposition.Placeajackstandunderthefrontofthe
chassistopreventthemachinefromtippingforward.Thedriverollermust
beoffthegroundandfreetorotate.
2.Removethetransmissioncoverfromthemachine;refertotheRemoving
theTransmissionCover(page7–59).
3.Ensurethattheentiremotioncontrollinkageassemblyissecureandmoves
freelyinbothdirections;refertoMotionControlLinkage(GreensPro1260)
(page7–17).
4.Removethetractioncablefromthepedalrodpivot(Figure28).
