Procedure
SHModels
1.Runthebatterywiringharnessthroughthetowvehicle
anduptothebattery.
2.Connectthefusedwiretothepositiveconnectorand
theotherwiretothegroundtothebattery.
3.AttachtheSHbatterywiringharnesstothesolenoid
wiringharnesscomingfromthebaseunit.The
connectorislocatedamongthehydraulichoseattached
tothetowvehicle.
4.OnSHmodelsplugtheon/offpendantswitch(4
prongend)intothesocketatthefrontleftcornerof
themachine(Figure9).

5.Ensurethatallthehoseconnectionsandwireharnesses
areinstalledcorrectlyandtightened.
Important:Alwaysremovetheon/offpendant
switchcordordisconnectthepowersupplywire
whenthemachineandtowvehiclearenotinuse.
Otherwise,thetowvehiclebatterywilllosepower.

1.Mountthesocketbrackettotherearofthetowvehicle
with(2)5/16x1inchscrewsandnuts.
2.Routethewireharnessconnectorthroughthehole
tothesocket.Slidethebootdowntheharnessifthe
connectordoesnotgothroughthehole.
3.Securethewireharnesssockettothebracketwith(2)
1/4x1inchscrewsandnuts(Figure10).
4.Connectthefusedwiretothepositiveconnectorand
theotherwiretothegroundtothebattery.
5.Attachthebaseunitwiringharnesstothetowvehicle
wiringharness(
Figure10).Theconnectorislocated
amongthehydraulichoseattachedtothetowvehicle.
