FloorStart
UponinitiallypressingFloorStart(wheretheoorisnot
running),theHandhelddisplayshowsthestoredsetting
andduringthistimeanOFFcommandiscontinuouslysent
totheBaseUnittoensuretheoutputremainsOFF.In
thispreviewmode,anSisdisplayedafterFLR–FLRSis
displayed—indicatingtheHandheldisinaSETONLY
mode.Inthispreviewmode,thesettingcanbeadjustedupor
downasdesiredusingtheIncreaseFloorSpeedandDecrease
FloorSpeedbuttons,buttheactualoutputattheBaseUnit
remainsOFF.Thisisusefulasitallowstheoperatortopre
setadesiredoorspeedsetting,orusethestoredsetting,
withoutcausingunwantedmovement.Uponsettlingona
desiredspeed,theFLOORSTARTbuttoncanbepressed
againcausingtheBaseUnitoutputtoramptothechosen
setting.PressingFLOORSTARTforathirdtimecausesthe
currentvaluetobestoredinmemory.
Note:ChangestotheFloorsettingswhiletheFlooris
runningareimmediatelyeffective,buttheyaretemporary
unlessthesettingisstored.Forinstance,anadjustmentis
madewhilethedisplayshowsFLRS,theFloorisstarted
rampingtotheadjustedsetting,andthentheHandheld
Remoteisturnedoff(powereddown)withoutstoringthe
change.Thesettingwillreverttothepreviouslystoredvalue
whenthenexttimetheHandheldRemoteisused.
Note:Aten(10)secondtimerstartswhentheFLOOR
STARTbuttonispressedandFLFS(SETONLY
mode)displays.Ifabuttonpressisnotsensedduringtheten
secondinterval,thedisplayrevertstoFLRandtheprevious
state/valuedisplaysandisenforced.Thetimerresetstoten
secondsifanybuttonispressedwhiletheHandheldisinthe
SETONLYmode.
ChangeorStoreFloorSpeedSetting
ThestartingspeedfortheFloorcanbechangedatwill.When
changed,thenewvalueisnotstoredinthecurrentworking
memoryunlesstheALLSTARTbuttonorFLOOR
STARTbuttonispressedagainwhiletheFlooris
active.Thestoredvalueisusedanytimethereafterwhenthe
ALLSTARTispressedorwhentheSTARTFLOOR
ispressed.Tochangethevalue
1.PresstheFLOORSTART
button.Thepreview
valuedisplays.
2.Adjustthecommandtothedesiredspeedsettingusing
theINCREASEFLOORSPEEDbuttonorthe
DECREASEFLOORSPEEDbuttonwhile
watchingthedisplay.
3.PresstheFLOORSTARTbuttonagaintostart
theBaseUnitFloorOutput.
4.PressFLOORSTARTbuttononcemore(the
thirdtime).
TheLCDacknowledgesthenewstoredcommandby
displayingFLOORSTORE.Thisvalueisusedwhen
eithertheFLOORSTART
orALLSTART
buttonispressed.
AlternateStoreFloorCommandSetting
Method
1.PresstheALLSTARTbuttontodisplaythe
previeworSETONLYmode(FLSandOPTS).
2.Adjustthecommandtothedesiredspeedusingthe
FLOORIncreaseorFLOORDecrease
button.
3.PresstheALLSTARTbuttonagaintorunthe
FloorandOption.
4.PresstheALLSTARTbuttonwhilebothFloor
andOptionarerunning.Thedisplayacknowledgesthe
newstoredcommandswithALLSTORE.
Note:BothFloorandOptionmustberunningfor
ALLSTOREtowork.Ifonlyoneorneitherare
running,theALLSTARTcommandwillbe
interpretedasarequesttoeitherstartthemboth,
ortostarttheonethatwasnotrunning.Nothing
isstoredandthecommandspreviewedarethe
previouslystoredFloorandtheOptioncommands.
Itisimportanttorealizethatthestoredcommand
fortheFloorisusedtwice,onceintheeventofan
individualcommandusingFLOORSTART,and
onceintheeventofacombinedactionusingALL
START;ineithercase,itisthesamenumber.
