Performthefollowingstepswhentowingthemachine:
Beforeoperatingthemachine,stowthejackand
rearjackleg.
Donotallowthehydraulichoses,thepowercable,
andthependantcablestodragontheground
duringoperation.Avoidlocationswheretheycould
becomepinchedorcut.
Whenmakingsharpturns,thehydraulichoses
maycontactthetractionunitwheels.Avoidmaking
sharpturns,ifnecessary,useabungeecord(a
rubberstrapwithhooksonbothends)topullback
thehosesandcablestowardthecenter.

Theloadcontrolcompensatesfortrailerload
variationsbylimitingthemaximumtorqueoutput
ofthebrakesbyaddingdroppingresistanceinthe
electricalcontrolline.Considerthefollowingoperating
conditions:
Whentowingatrailerloadedtobrakerated
capacity,setthebrakecontrolformaximum
braking.
Whenpullinganemptyorpartiallyloadedtrailer,
setthebrakecontrolbetweenmaximumand
minimumbrakingataposition,justbeforethepoint
atwhichthemachinetireskidswhenactuatingthe
handcontrolfullyon.
Failuretoinstallandusetheelectricbrakecontrol
resultsinexcessivebraketorquewhenstoppinga
machineloadedtolessthanbrakecapacity.

Whennishedworkingwiththemachine,always
presstheE-STOPbutton(Figure29)todisablethe
electricalsystem.Whenbeginningworkwiththe
machine,youmustpulltheE-STOPbuttonbackout
beforeturningonthehandheldremote.
