•Identifyhazardsatthebaseoftheslope.Use
extremecautionwhenoperatingthemachinenear
drop-offs,ditches,embankments,water,orother
hazards.Themachinecouldsuddenlyrolloverifa
wheelgoesovertheedgeortheedgecollapses.
Keepasafedistance(twicethewidthofthe
machine)betweenthemachineandanyhazard.
•Removeormarkobstaclessuchasditches,holes,
ruts,bumps,rocks,orotherhiddenhazards.Tall
grasscanhideobstacles.Uneventerraincould
overturnthemachine.
•Avoidstarting,stopping,orturningthemachineon
slopes.Avoidmakingsuddenchangesinspeedor
direction;turnslowlyandgradually.
•Donotoperateamachineunderanyconditions
wheretraction,steering,orstabilityisinquestion.

grass,acrossslopes,ordownhillmaycausethe
machinetolosetraction.Lossoftractiontothe
drivewheelsmayresultinslidingandalossof
brakingandsteering.Themachinecanslideeven
ifthedrivewheelsarestopped.
