Parkthemachineonarm,levelsurface;engage
theparkingbrake;shutofftheengine;remove
thekey;andwaitforallmovementtostopbefore
leavingthemachine.
Avoidsoftgroundbecausethejacklegcouldsink
andcausethemachinetotipover.
Donotdisconnectthemachinefromthetow
vehicleonhills,orwithoutengagingthejackand
rear-jackleg.
Whendisconnectingthemachine,alwayschock
thewheelstopreventmovement.
Keepallpartsofthemachineingoodworking
conditionandallhardwaretightened.
Replaceallwornordamageddecals.
DisconnectingtheMachine
fromtheTowVehicle
1.Parkthetowvehicleandthemachineondry,
levelground.
2.Settheparkingbrakeonthetowvehicle,shut
offtheengine,andremovethekey.
3.Placeblocksunderthefrontandbackofthe
wheels.
4.Relievethepressurefromthehydraulicsystem.
5.Disconnectthehydraulichosesandthepower
harness(Figure21orFigure22)fromthetow
vehicle.Coilandstorethemonthefrontofthe
machine.
6.Unplugthepowerbrakecablefromthesocket
onthetowvehicleandstoreitonthemachine
(Figure11).
7.OnSHmodels,disconnectandremovethe
controlpendantfordrystorage.OnEHmodels,
storethehandheldremoteinadrysafeplace.
EnsurethatyouhavepressedtheE-STOPbutton
in.
8.Turnthefrontjackandrearjackleg90degrees
(clockwise)tothedownpositiontosupportthe
machine.
9.Liftthemachinewiththejackuntiltheweightis
offthetowvehicle’sdrawbar.Pulloutthehitch
pin.
10.Ensurethatthereisnofurtherconnection
betweenthemachineandthetowvehicle.
