KeyFunctionalityElements
Whenthehandheldremoteisrstpoweredon,
thedisplayshouldreadFLROFFandOPTOFF
inapproximately5seconds.Ifthewords“waiting
forbase”areinthedisplay,checktoensurethere
iselectricalpowertothebaseunitandensurethe
E-STOPbuttononthebaseunitispulledout.
Thereisalwaysacurrentworkingmemory.This
isnotthesameasapreset.Thelastsavedwork
settingswillbeinthecurrentworkingmemory
whenthehandheldremoteispoweredon.
Operationalsequenceofthehandheldremote
startbuttons:
Pressingastartbuttononce(ALLSTART,
FLOORSTART,orOPTIONSTART)callsupthe
currentworkingmemorysettingstoredinthe
handheldremote.
Bypressingthesamestartbuttonasecond
timethecomponentturnsonifthehydraulics
areengaged(itshowsnumbersrampingupin
thedisplay).
Pressingthesamestartbuttonathirdtime
willstorethenewsettingestablishedinthe
remote’sworkingmemory.
Afterpressingastartbuttononcetoviewthe
currentworkingmemorysettinginanon-working
mode,thereisapproximately10secondstobegin
adjustingthesettingortheelementwillrevertback
tooff.Inaworkingmode,the10secondruleis
gone.
Toprogramapreset,thekeytorememberisthe
elementsmustbeactivatedorengaged.
Tooperatefromapreset,theelementspeed
percentagesmustbeinthedisplaytoactivateor
engagethem.IfthewordsOFFareinthedisplay,
thepresetmustberecalled.

Ifthehandheldremoteismissing,damaged,orfails,
youcanstilloperatethemachinetocompletetasksor
continueaspreadingjob.

platetotheoverridecover(Figure27).
