InstallingtheBelt
Toinstallanewbelt,reversetheaboveinstructions,
butkeepinmindthefollowingimportantnotesand
instructions.
Important:Theconveyorbeltisdesignedto
workprimarilyin1direction.Ensurethatthe
paintedarrowinthemiddleofthebeltispointing
towardstherearofthemachine(lookingdown
fromabove).
Note:Beforeslidingthereardriverollerbackup
throughtheslotandintoplace,ensurethatyou
havealreadyinstalledthe4bolts(fromtheinside
facingout)forconnectingthepillowblockbearings.
Otherwise,youwillhavetoremovethedriverollerto
gainenoughclearancetoinstallthesebolts.
Wheninstallingthereardriveroller,ensurethatthe
shaftconnectingtothemotorisontheleftside.Ithas
akeyholecutintoitforsecuringthedrivesprocket.
Beforeapplyingtensionwiththetensionerrodsat
thefrontofthemachine,useyourhandstomanually
centerthebeltatthefrontandrear.
Trackandtensionthebeltbyfollowingtheinstructions
intheMaintenanceSectionofthemanual.
Thefrontidlerandreardriverollersprovideexcellent
tractionforpullingthebeltunderload,sodonot
overtightenorstretchthebelt.
Applysiliconesealertotherearsideofthemetalrails
andatthe2frontcornersoftheoorwheretherails
meet.Thesealerdeectsanymaterialfromgetting
pasttherails.
