Operation
ConnectingtheMH-400tothe
TowVehicle
1.ConnecttheMH-400hitchtothetowvehicleusing
a1inch(25mm)diametersafetyapprovedhitch
pinandsafetyclip(notsupplied).
Important:Useahighstrengthhitchpinthat
isapprovedfortowvehiclehitches.
2.Adjustthehitchheightbyturningthejackstand
handletokeepthemachinelevel.
3.Lowerthehitchusingthejackstand.
4.Whenthefullweightofthemachinehasbeen
transferredtothetowvehicle’sdrawbarfromthe
jackstand,pullthepinholdingthejackstandin
place.
5.Turnthejackstand90degreescounterclockwise
untilthebottomofthejackstandpointstotherear
ofthemachine.Thisisthetravelingposition.
CAUTION
Raisethejacksintothetravelingposition
beforetowingthemachine.
6.Connectthetwohydraulichosesfromthemachine
tothetowvehicle.Facingthefrontofthemachine,
connecttherighthosetothepressuresideandthe
lefthosetothereturnside(
Figure17).Thereturn
hosehasaninlineonewaycheckvalve.Thearrow
onthecheckvalveshouldfacethetowvehicle
returnconnector.
