HydraulicSystem
Themachineisshippedfromthefactorylledwithhigh
qualityhydraulicuid.Checkthelevelofhydraulicoil
beforethemachineisrststartedanddailythereafter.
Therecommendedreplacementoilisasfollows:

Alternateuids:IftheTorouidisnotavailable,other

ChanginganOutsideTire
1.Keepthemachineattachedtothetowvehicle,
removeanyoptions,andapplytheemergencybrake.
2.Removeallmaterialfromthehopper.
3.Blockthetiresontheoppositesideoftheattire.
4.Loosenthesixwheelboltsontheattirewithalug
wrench,butdonotremovethem.
5.Hoistorjackthemachineuntilthetireisoffthe
oororground.Ensurethatthemachineisstable.
6.Removetheloosewheelboltsandremovethetire.
7.Repairthedamagedtire.
8.Reinstallthetireontothemachinebyreversingthe
abovesteps.
Note:Ensurethatthewheeliscenteredonthe
hubandallsixwheelboltsaretight.Torqueina
crossoverpatternto100ft-lb(13.8kg-m).
ChanginganInsideTire
1.Keepthemachineattachedtothetowvehicle,
removeanyoptions,andapplytheemergencybrake.
2.Removeallmaterialfromthehopper.
3.Blockthetiresontheoppositesideoftheattire.
4.Onthesidewiththetiretobechanged,remove
thefour5/8inchboltsholdingthewalkingbeam
suspension'sbearingstothechassis.(Loosenbut
donotremovetheoutsidewheelnutstogivemore
clearanceforbearingbolts).
5.Hoistorjackthemachineuntiltheinsidetireand
walkingbeamaxleassemblycanberolledoutfrom
underneath.Ensurethatthemachineisstable.
6.Removethetire.
7.Repairthedamagedtire.
8.Reinstallthetireontothemachinebyreversingthe
abovesteps.
Note:Ensurethatthewheeliscenteredonthehub
andallsixwheelboltsandthebearingboltsaretight
to100ft-lb(13.8kg-m).
TrackingtheConveyorBelt
Iftheconveyorbeltisnotcenteredandtrackstoone
side,itneedstobeadjusted(Figure46).Thebesttime
todothisisbetweenloadsduringoperation.
1.Gototherearofthemachineanddeterminewhich
sideofthebeltistouching.
2.Gotothefrontonthesameside,loosenthelocking
nut,andtightentheadjusternutbyonequarterturn.
3.Tightenbothlockingnutsbeforerunningthe
machine.
4.Loadthemachinewithmaterialandruntheload
throughuntilempty.Repeatmultipletimes.
5.Stopthebeltandgototherearofthemachineto
observetheresults.
Youmayneedtorepeattheabovestepsseveraltimes
untilthebeltbeginstomoveandtrackproperly.
Note:Thebeltmaymoveslightlydependingon
thetypeofloadanditsposition.Ifthebeltisnot
touchingthesiderails,youdonotneedtotrackthe
belt.
