•Usingthemachinedemandsattention.Failureto
operatetowvehiclesafelymayresultinanaccident,
tipoveroftowvehicleandseriousinjuryordeath.
Drivecarefully.Topreventtippingorlossofcontrol:
–Useextremecaution,reducespeedandmaintain
asafedistancearoundsandtraps,ditches,creeks,
ramps,anyunfamiliarareasorotherhazards.
–Watchforholesorotherhiddenhazards.
–Usecautionwhenoperatingtowvehicleona
steepslope.Normallytravelstraightupand
downslopes.Reducespeedwhenmakingsharp
turnsorwhenturningonhillsides.Avoidturning
onhillsideswheneverpossible.
–Useextracautionwhenoperatingtowvehicleon
wetsurfaces,athigherspeedsorwithafullload.
Stoppingtimewillincreasewithafullload.Shift
intoalowergearbeforestartingupordownahill.
–Avoidsuddenstopsandstarts.Donotgofrom
reversetoforwardorforwardtoreversewithout
comingtoacompletestop.
–Donotattemptsharpturnsorabruptmaneuvers
orotherunsafedrivingactionsthatmaycause
alossofcontrol.
–Beforebackingup,looktotherearandassureno
oneisbehind.Backupslowly.
–Watchoutfortrafcwhennearorcrossingroads.
Alwaysyieldtherightofwaytopedestriansand
othervehicles.Thismachineisnotdesigned
foruseonstreetsorhighways.Alwayssignal
yourturnsorstopearlyenoughsootherpersons
knowwhatyouplantodo.Obeyalltrafcrules
andcheckforlocalregulationsontheoperation
ofthemachineonornearhighways.
–Alwayswatchoutforandavoidlowoverhangs
suchastreelimbs,doorjambs,overhead
walkways,etc.Makesurethereisenoughroom
overheadtoeasilyclearthetowvehicleandyour
head.
–Lightningcancausesevereinjuryordeath.If
lightningisseenorthunderisheardinthearea,
donotoperatethemachine;seekshelter.
–Ifeverunsureaboutsafeoperation,STOP
WORKandaskyoursupervisor.
–Donotleavethemachineunattendedwhileitis
running
–DonotgetthewirelesscontrollerontheEH
modelwet.
•Youcanloadthemachinefromthetoportherear.
Whenloadingfromtherear,raiseorremovethe
reargate.
•Ensurethatthemachineisconnectedtothetow
vehiclebeforeloading.
•Donotcarryloadsthatexceedtheloadlimitsofthe
machineorthetowvehicle.
•Thestabilityofloadscanvary—forexample,high
loadshaveahighercenterofgravity.Reducethe
maximumloadlimitstoensurebetterstability,if
necessary.
•Toavoidcausingthemachinetotipover:
–Carefullymonitortheheightandweightofthe
load.Higherandheavierloadscanincreasethe
riskoftipping.
–Distributetheloadevenly,fronttobackandside
toside.
–Becarefulwhenturningandavoidunsafe
maneuvers.
–Alwaysensurethatthemachineisconnectedto
thetowvehiclebeforeloading.
–Donotputlargeorheavyobjectsintothe
hopper.Thiscoulddamagethebeltandrollers.
Alsoensurethattheloadhasauniformtexture.
Smallrocksinsandcanbecomeprojectiles.
•Donotstandbehindthemachinewhenunloading
orspreading.Thetwinspinner,crossconveyorand
processorejectparticlesanddustatahighspeed.
•Donotunloadthemachineordisconnectitfrom
thetowvehiclewhileonahill.
•Ensurethatthemachineisconnectedtothetow
vehiclebeforeunloading.
•Alwaysremoveoptionsbeforeloadingorunloading
themachinefromatrailer.Otherwise,theoption
mayhittheramporgroundandbeseriously
damaged.
•Themachineisdesignedonlyforoffroaduse.The
maximumrecommendedspeedwithoutaloadis15
mph(24km/h),and8mph(13km/h)withafull
load.
•Beforeoperatingthemachine,raisethefrontjack
andrearjackleg.Removethejackfromthejackleg
andstoreitonthetongueduringoperation.
•Maintainsafecontrolofthemachine.Donot
attemptabruptmaneuversorotherunsafeactions,
especiallyonhillsorunevenground.
•Ensurethatthecrossconveyoriscentered.Traveling
withitintheextendedpositioncandamagethe
optionattachmentbracketsandswivelkit.
