Do not touch the turf-facing side of the in-use magnet. Use gloves to clean or adjust the magnet as well as any materials that are released from the magnet.

1 Preparing the Machine No Parts Required Procedure 1. Park the traction unit and attachment on a level surface. 2. Engage the traction unit parking brake. 3. Lower the attachment. 4. Shut off the traction-unit engine and remove the key.

2. Install the spindle onto the clamp bracket. 5. 3. Secure the spindle to the mounting bracket assembly using 2 washers (M16) and 2 nuts (M16). Install the upper mounting plate to the machine using 2 bolts (M10) and 2 locknuts (M10). g348944 Figure 2 4. Loosely install the mounting bracket and spindle assembly to the clamp strip using 2 bolts (M12), 2 washers (M12), and 2 locknuts (M12). g348946 Figure 4 6.

g348975 Figure 5 7. Repeat on the other side. 8. Ensure that the long part of the offset bracket is on the outside and install the magnet onto the clamp strips. 9. Adjust the spindle nuts on each side so that the magnet is the same height above the ground on both ends. 10. Tighten all of the fasteners.
