StorageSafety
•Beforeadjusting,cleaning,storing,orrepairingthe
machine,parktheitonalevelsurface;engage
theparkingbrakeofthetractionunit;shutoffthe
engine;removethekey;andwaitforallmovement
tostopbeforeleavingthetractionunit.
•Storethemachineonthefrontandrearrollers
positionedonarm,levelsurfacesothatitdoes
notsinkorrollaway.
•Storethemachineawayfromareasofhuman
activity.
•Donotallowchildrentoplayonoraroundthe
storedmachine.
PreparingtheMachinefor
Storage
Important:Donotusebrackishorreclaimed
watertocleanthemachine.
Whenthemachineisstoredforalongperiod,perform
thefollowingprocedure:
1.Cleanoffanydirtorgreasethatmayhave
accumulatedonthemachineoranyofthe
movingparts.
2.Cleanaccumulatedsoilfromtheknives.
3.Openthehoodandcleanouttheinsideofthe
machine.
4.Lubricateallgreasettings.
5.SupportthePTOdriveshaftinthestoredposition
withthetethertopreventdamage,orremove
thePTOandstoreitunderthehoodtominimize
corrosion.
6.Touchupanyscratchesonthepaintedsurfaces.
7.Replaceanymissingordamageddecals.
8.Storethemachineinsideadry,securebuilding.
Insidestoragereducesmaintenance,givesa
longerworkinglife,andincreasestheresidual
valueofthemachine.Ifinsidestorageisnot
available,coverthemachinewithaheavysheet
ortarpaulinandsecureittightly.
