ShuttingOfftheChainSaw
Toshutoffthechainsaw,releasethetrigger.
Wheneveryouarenotusingthesaworare
transportingthesawtoorfromtheworkarea,move
thechainbraketotheSTOPposition(Figure8)and
removethebatterypack.
CuttingwiththeChainSaw
WARNING
Operatingachainsawimproperlycancause
seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.
Readandfollowalloperatinginstructions
carefullytoavoidpossiblepersonalinjury.
WARNING
Kickbackcancauseseriousorfatalinjuryto
you.
Alwaysensurethatthechainbrakesystem
isworkingproperlybeforeyouoperatethe
chainsaw.
Avoidtouchingobjectstobecutwiththetip
ofthechainsaw.
Thereare2typesofkickback:
Afastupwardmotionofthechainsawthatresults
whenthechainatthenoseortopofthebar
contactsanobject
Afastbackwardmotionofthechainsawthat
resultswhenthechainatthenoseortopofthebar
ispinchedbytheobjectbeingcut
