•Alwaysweargloveswhenadjustingormaintaining

1.Placethepolesawonaatsurfaceanddisconnecttheplug
fromthepowersource;refertoShuttingOffthePoleSaw
(page9).
2.Removethesidecover;turnthebarcoverknob
counterclockwiseuntiltheknobisremovedandthenremove
thesidecover(Figure17).

at-headscrewdrivertoremovedirtanddebrisfromthe
groovealongtheedgeoftheguidebar,startingfromthe
sprocketonthefrontendandmovingrearward.
Ensurethattheoilchannelinthebarthatalignswiththeoil
outletonthepolesawiscleansothatoilcanowfreelyto
thechain(Figure18).
