Tostopthetrimmer,releasethetrigger(Figure8).

RemovingtheBattery

Toremovethebatteryfromthetrimmer,gripthehandle,press

downonthelatch,andpullthebatteryoutofthecavity.

Note:Ifyouhavetroubleremovingthebattery,applysome

dielectricgreasetothebatteryterminals(Figure11).Donot

useanyothertypeoflubricantasitcancausedamagetothe

terminals.

Important:Forbestresults,yourbatterytoolshould

bechargedinalocationwherethetemperatureismore

than5°C(41°F)butlessthan40°C(104°F).Toreduce

theriskofseriouspersonalinjury,donotstoreoutside

orinvehicles.Chargingtimewillbeincreasedifnot

chargedwithinthisrange.

1.Ifthepowercordisnotpluggedintothecharger,plugitin

tothecharger(Figure12),thenplugthepowercordinto

apowersocket.

2.Turnthebatteryupsidedownandlineupthebatteryterminal

withtheslotinthecharger(Figure12andFigure13).
