UsingtheVacuum
WARNING
Thevacuumcanthrowdebris,possiblycausing
seriouspersonalinjurytotheoperatororbystanders.
Donotoperatethevacuumwithoutthebaginstalled
orwiththebagzipperopen.
Donotvacuumsharp,pointed,orhardobjectsthat
couldbethrownthroughthefabricofthebag,such
aswires,staples,nails,orrocks.
Important:Vacuumonlyleavesandsoftitems.Hard
itemssuchassticks,rocks,acorns,andpineconeswill
damagetheimpeller.
Important:Donotforcethevacuumtubeintoapile
ofdebrisorholdthetubeuprightwhileforcefeeding
debrisintothetube.Eitheractionmaycloganddamage
theimpeller.Ifthevacuumstartstovibrateormake
abnormalnoise,stopit,
unplug
thecord,andcheckfor
thecause.
EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.
Donotstoredebrisinthebag.T ocleanthebag,turnit
insideoutandshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,
handwashthebaginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.
DANGER
Normalusageofthebagcausesittowearand
deteriorateovertime.Awornordeterioratedbag
allowssmallobjectstobethrownthroughthebag,
possiblyinjuringtheoperatororbystanders.
Checkthebagfrequently.Ifitiswornor
deteriorated,replaceitwithagenuineToro
vacuumbag.
EmptyingtheBag
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersource.
2.Emptyanydebrisfromthebag.
Donotstoredebrisinthebag.T ocleanthebag,turnit
insideoutandshakeoutanyexcessdebris.Onceayear,
handwashthebaginsoapywaterandallowittoairdry.

RemovingCloggedDebris
fromtheImpeller
1.Turnoffandunplugthevacuumfromthepowersourceand
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
2.Removethevacuumtubethenremovethedebrisfrom
impellerblades.
3.Checktheimpellerforanysignsofdamage.Ifitisdamaged,
contactyourAuthorizedT oroDealer.
4.Installthevacuumtubeor,ifyouwanttoswitchtoblower
