•Becarefulofblowingdirection(i.e.,
blowawayfrombystanders,windows,
automobiles,etc.).Onlyuseasmuch
speedasrequired.
•Useextracarewhencleaningdebrisfrom
stairsorothertightareas.
•Dressproperly—Wearappropriate
clothing,includingeyeprotection;long
pants;substantial,slip-resistantfootwear;
andhearingprotection.Tiebacklonghair
anddonotwearlooseclothingorloose
jewelrythatcangetcaughtinmoving
parts.Wearadustmaskindustyoperating
conditions.
StartingtheBlower
1.Makesurethattheventsontheblowerareclear
ofanydustanddebris.
2.Alignthecavityonthebatterypackwiththe
tongueinthehandlehousing(Figure5).
3.Graspthehandleandpushthebatterypackinto
thehandleuntilthelatchlocksintoplace(Figure
2).
