Operation
WARNING
Theblowercanthrowdebris,possibly
causingseriouspersonalinjurytoyouor
bystanders.
Donotblowhardobjects,suchasnailsor
bolts.
Donotoperatetheblowernearbystanders
orpets.
Becarefulofblowingdirection(i.e.,
blowawayfrombystanders,windows,
automobiles,etc.).Onlyuseasmuch
speedasrequired.
Useextracarewhencleaningdebrisfrom
stairsorothertightareas.
Dressproperly—Wearappropriate
clothing,includingeyeprotection;long
pants;substantial,slip-resistantfootwear;
andhearingprotection.Tiebacklonghair
anddonotwearloosejewelrythatcanget
caughtinmovingparts.Wearadustmask
industyoperatingconditions.
StartingtheBlower
1.Makesurethattheventsontheblowerareclear
ofanydustanddebris.
2.Alignthecavityonthebatterypackwiththe
tongueinthehandlehousing(Figure2).
3.Graspthehandleandpushthebatterypackinto
thehandleuntilthelatchlocksintoplace(Figure
1).

AdjustingtheAirSpeedof
theBlower
Toachievemaximumperformance(airspeed),fully
depressthevariable-speedtrigger,thenpressand
holdtheturboboostbuttonforthedesiredamountof
time(Figure3).
Toadjusttheairspeedasyoublow,usethe
variable-speedtrigger(Figure3).
Tomaintainthecurrentairspeed,engagethespeed
lock(Figure3).
ShuttingOfftheBlower
Toshutofftheblower,disengagethespeedlock(ifin
use)andreleasethevariable-speedtrigger(Figure3).
Important:Afterstoppingtheblower,donot
leavethespeedlockengagedwiththebattery
packintheblower.
Wheneveryouarenotusingtheblowerorare
transportingtheblowertoorfromtheworkarea,
removethebatterypack.
